LIFT will prioritise student club culture by allocating a further $35,000 for club event grants.
Students have very limited options when it comes to keeping food cold during the day. Lift will provide fridges in Libraries and The Ref for general use by students. Any food that is left unlabelled at the end of the day will be removed by the cleaners.
The Ref is a hotspot for students during lunchtime, and it shows. Tables quickly become dirty with no facilities to clean up messes. LIFT will ensure cleaning services are facilitated during the day to keep our Ref in a clean state.
LIFT will facilitate courses in bartending, barista, first aid, and more to help students gain affordable qualifications.
Each semester, LIFT would hold Flea Markets on Oak Lawn for students to buy, sell and exchange second-hand items, clothes and hand-crafted goods.
LIFT will implement a tax advice service for students during tax time to provide assistance with filing returns and statements.
LIFT will advocate for training to improve spoken English standards in lectures to improve learning and the student experience.
LIFT will launch LECT1001: Intro to Lecturing - A course for teachers to LIFT lecture delivery and recording standards to improve the student learning experience and culture.
LIFT will petition the local government for student permits to improve parking near campus. Click below to support out petition!
LIFT promises to keep microwaves working across campus.
